Julie D. Murray is an Associate in the Firm's Workers' Compensation and Employers' Liability practice group. She represents Employers and Insurers in the defense of workers' compensation claims in both Maryland and the District of Columbia. Her clients include Self-Insured Employers as well as insurance companies providing coverage for large and small Employers. She handles cases at the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission as well as on the appellate level throughout Maryland, including matters pending in the Court of Special Appeals and the Court of Appeals of Maryland. She also regularly appears before the the District of Columbia's Office of Workers' Compensation and Office of Hearings and Adjudications.

While in law school, Ms. Murray served as Executive Notes & Comments editor on the Journal of Business and Technology Law, and interned at the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. Prior to joining Semmes as an Associate, she served as a Summer Associate at the Firm.
