Kevin M. Cox is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department. His practice generally focuses on civil litigation in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage disputes, products liability, and negligence based torts. His diverse clientele ranges from small self-insured businesses and individuals to large corporations.

Mr. Cox is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law where he served on the University of Baltimore Law Forum and the Telecommunications Moot Court team. His formal education and training also includes a Masters degree in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Prior to joining Semmes as an Associate, Mr. Cox served as a Summer Associate and a Law Clerk at the Firm. He also has significant governmental experience working for the Baltimore City Health Department and in both the Governor’s Office and the Clerk’s Office for the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.

Mr. Cox was selected as a Maryland “Rising Star” by Baltimore Magazine and Maryland Super Lawyers Magazine 2012.
