Marisa Trasatti's practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, with an emphasis on products liability litigation.

Prior to joining Semmes, Bowen & Semmes in 2003, Marisa served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Lawrence R. Daniels, Circuit Court for Baltimore County. After graduating from law school, she worked at a boutique local defense firm where she gained significant trial experience with her representation in medical malpractice, insurance defense, and products liability cases. Marisa has also defended locally and nationally several large corporations in connection with toxic tort litigation.

In June 2006, Marisa was nominated as the Maryland Defense Counsel's Young Lawyer Liaison to the Defense Research Institute and also serves as the Maryland Marketing Chair for the Defense Research Institute's Annual Meeting.
