Marisa Trasatti’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation, with an emphasis on products liability litigation.

Prior to joining Semmes, Bowen & Semmes in 2004, Marisa served as a judicial intern for The Honorable Lawrence R. Daniels, Circuit Court for Baltimore County. After graduating from law school, she worked at boutique local defense firms where she gained significant trial experience in medical malpractice, insurance defense, and products liability cases. Marisa has also defended locally and nationally several large corporations in connection with toxic tort litigation.

Between June 2006 and June 2008, Marisa served on the Board of the Maryland Defense Counsel as the Young Lawyer Liaison to the Defense Research Institute. In June 2008, she became Co-Chair of the Judicial Nominations Committee of the Maryland Defense Counsel. She is also active in the Defense Research Institute and its related Public Policy, Toxic Tort, Products Liability, and Women in the Courtroom committees.
